Ayr\u0131ca b\u00fct\u00fcn g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce ve \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda \u0130sl\u00e2m birli\u011fi, yard\u0131mla\u015fma ve dayan\u0131\u015fmay\u0131 hep \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131karm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Onun \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli bir \u00f6zelli\u011fi de me\u015fr\u00fbtiyet, \u0130ttihat ve Terakki ile Cumhuriyet d\u00f6nemlerinde ya\u015fanan de\u011fi\u015fikliklere ra\u011fmen, fistikametini korumas\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n

Bundan dolay\u0131, bu m\u00fctevaz\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada, onun \u201cR\u00fcyada Bir Hitabe\u201d adl\u0131 de\u011ferlendirmesini tarih\u00ee altyap\u0131 ve ger\u00e7ekleriyle ortaya koymaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015faca\u011f\u0131z. Bu sayede de onun, Osmanl\u0131 Devleti ve M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlar\u0131n \u201chasta adam\u201d, \u201cyok oldu, tarihten siliniyor\u201d denildi\u011fi bir zamanda, \u00fcmit verici g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015flerini payla\u015fmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fal\u0131m.<\/p>\n

\u201c1335 senesi Eyl\u00fcl\u2019\u00fcnde, dehrin hadisat\u0131n\u0131n verdi\u011fi yeis ile \u015fiddetle muzdarip idim. \u015eu kesif zulmet i\u00e7inde bir n\u00fbr ar\u0131yordum. Manen r\u00fcya olan yakazada bulamad\u0131m. Hakikaten yakaza olan r\u00fcyay\u0131 s\u00e2d\u0131kada bir ziya g\u00f6rd\u00fcm.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00d6nce Bedi\u00fczzaman\u2019\u0131n r\u00fcyay\u0131 g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc s\u0131rada \u201cdehrin hadis\u00e2t\u0131\u201dna (zaman\u0131n olaylar\u0131na) bir g\u00f6z atmak gerekir: \u00d6ncelikle dehri etkileyen Osmanl\u0131n\u0131n durumuna bakal\u0131m: 1335 (1919) Eyl\u00fcl\u2019\u00fcnde, 1914\u20131918 aras\u0131 d\u00f6rt y\u0131l boyunca dokuz cephede I. D\u00fcnya Sava\u015f\u0131 devam etmi\u015f, ma\u011flup, bitkin ve harap olarak \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015f\u0131zd\u0131r. 30 Ekim 1918\u2019de imzalanan Mondros Ate\u015fkes Antla\u015fmas\u0131 ile ma\u011flubiyetimiz tescil ettirilmi\u015ftir. Uzun y\u0131llar insanl\u0131\u011fa, insanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00f6\u011freten, tek amac\u0131 i\u2019l\u00e2-y\u0131 kelimetullah olan muhte\u015fem devlet, g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fc, kuvvetini kaybederek tarih sahnesinden \u00e7ekilmi\u015ftir. \u0130zmir ba\u015fta olmak \u00fczere, Ege k\u0131y\u0131 \u015feridi Yunanl\u0131lar\u0131n, G\u00fcney ve G\u00fcneydo\u011fu, Frans\u0131zlarla \u0130ngilizlerin istil\u00e2s\u0131na u\u011fram\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 1917 sonunda Bol\u015fevik ihtil\u00e2li yapan Ruslar\u0131n g\u00f6z\u00fc Anadolu \u00fczerindedir. \u0130stanbul\u2019da \u0130ngiliz, Frans\u0131z, \u0130talyan kuvvetleri vard\u0131r. Saltanat ve hilafet makam\u0131nda bulunan Sultan VI. Mehmet Vahdeddin ve mill\u00ee m\u00fccadele boyunca \u0130stanbul h\u00fck\u00fcmetine be\u015f defa sadrazam olan eni\u015ftesi Damat Ferit Pa\u015fa, \u00fclkenin yar\u0131 s\u00f6m\u00fcrge haline gelmesine mani olamam\u0131\u015f ve hatta Mondros\u2019un de\u011fi\u015ftirilmesinin \u00fclkeyi b\u00fcy\u00fck fel\u00e2ketlere s\u00fcr\u00fckleyece\u011fi kanaatinde idiler.<\/p>\n

Di\u011fer yandan, 1907\u20131918 aras\u0131ndaki Balkan ve I. D\u00fcnya Sava\u015flar\u0131 gibi, iki b\u00fcy\u00fck fel\u00e2ket erkek n\u00fcfusu eritmi\u015fti. Uzun y\u0131llar devam eden sava\u015flardan dolay\u0131, hazine bombo\u015ftur. Yokluk ve fakirlik had safhaya ula\u015fm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Anadolu ba\u015fta olmak \u00fczere, di\u011fer b\u00f6lgelerde asayi\u015f ve huzur kalmam\u0131\u015f ve da\u011flar\u0131 e\u015fk\u0131yalar ele ge\u00e7irmi\u015ftir. Anadolu\u2019nun i\u00e7lerine kadar s\u0131zan galip devletlerin mensuplar\u0131, Mondros Antla\u015fmas\u0131 gere\u011fince eldeki sil\u00e2h ve di\u011fer sava\u015f malzemesini topluyordu.<\/p>\n

Bunlar\u0131n yan\u0131nda en \u00f6nemli \u00e7\u00f6k\u00fcnt\u00fc ise; \u00fcmit yoktur diyerek, ruhlar\u0131n karanl\u0131k ve kederle \u00f6rt\u00fclmesidir. Devletin kaderinde rol oynayan ilmiye s\u0131n\u0131f\u0131, i\u00e7teki k\u0131s\u0131r \u00e7eki\u015fmelere, sen-ben kavgalar\u0131na alet olmu\u015flard\u0131r. Devleti idare edenler, ger\u00e7ek medeniyeti temsil eden, kurtulu\u015fun, saadetin ve faziletin t\u00e2 kendisi olan \u0130sl\u00e2m\u00ee esaslardan uzakla\u015fm\u0131\u015f ve bunun sonucunda yukar\u0131da da belirtti\u011fimiz istil\u00e2c\u0131 d\u00fc\u015fmanlar\u0131n as\u0131rlar\u0131n birikimi olan kin ve intikam duygular\u0131yla yapt\u0131klar\u0131 insafs\u0131z sald\u0131r\u0131larla devlet parampar\u00e7a olmu\u015ftur. \u00dcmitsizli\u011fe d\u00fc\u015fen ilmiye s\u0131n\u0131f\u0131n\u0131 te\u015fkil eden ulem\u00e2 \u0130ngiliz Muhipler Cemiyeti\u2019ne \u00fcye olmu\u015flar ve kurtulu\u015fun onlara ba\u011fl\u0131l\u0131kta olaca\u011f\u0131na inanm\u0131\u015flard\u0131r.<\/p>\n

Bu atmosferde, Bedi\u00fczzaman\u2019\u0131n madd\u00ee ve manev\u00ee olarak nas\u0131l bir halet-i ruhiye i\u00e7inde oldu\u011funa bakmak gerekir. Devletin i\u00e7inde bulundu\u011fu \u00e7\u0131kmazdan belki kurtulabilir diye benimsenen 1908 \u0130kinci Me\u015frutiyet\u2019ten sonraki y\u0131llarda Bedi\u00fczzaman, hayat\u0131 gere\u011fi meslek ve me\u015frep olarak \u015fahsiyetini te\u015fkil eden, yani mensubu oldu\u011fu ilmiye s\u0131n\u0131f\u0131n\u0131n din ve maneviyat kadrosu i\u00e7inde e\u015fine rastlanmayan gayret ve faaliyet i\u00e7inde oldu\u011funu g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. Daha sonraki y\u0131llarda; \u201c\u00c2lem-i \u0130sl\u00e2m\u2019a indirilen darbelerin en evvel kalbime indi\u011fini hissediyorum.\u201d diyerek duydu\u011fu \u0131st\u0131rab\u0131 belirtiyordu. Bunun yan\u0131nda insanlardaki bu \u00fcmitsizli\u011fi yok etmek i\u00e7in gayret ve faaliyetlerinden de geri durmuyordu.<\/p>\n

O, Sel\u00e2nik\u2019teki H\u00fcrriyet Meydan\u0131\u2019nda, h\u00fcrriyete hitaben irad etti\u011fi nutkunda, \u00fclkesi ve milleti i\u00e7in nelerin hasretini duymu\u015fsa, mill\u00ee m\u00fccadele ve hatta hayat\u0131n\u0131n sonuna kadar ayn\u0131 gayenin menfaatsiz, tavizsiz takip\u00e7isi ve hizmet\u00e7isi olmu\u015ftur. Ger\u00e7ekte her alandaki g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015flerinin isabetli olmas\u0131 da bundan de\u011fil midir?<\/p>\n

Eski Said\u2019in maddede ve m\u00e2n\u00e2da sentezi bu ilk g\u00fcn verilen s\u00f6zd\u00fcr. Yeni Said ise, son say\u0131lan bir devirden, t\u00fckenmemi\u015f olarak yeniden do\u011fu\u015funun as\u0131l kayna\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6sterme ve ebed\u00ee yol yapma m\u00fccadelesi yapan m\u00fcr\u015fittir. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc Bedi\u00fczzaman, hayat\u0131n\u0131n bu d\u00f6neminde m\u00fcr\u015fitli\u011fini en m\u00fckemmel \u015fekilde yaparak, b\u00fct\u00fcn mesaisini iman \u00fczerinde yo\u011funla\u015ft\u0131rm\u0131\u015f ve imans\u0131zl\u0131k i\u00e7erisinde yuvarlanan insanlar\u0131 hakka, hakikate ve kurtulu\u015fa \u00e7a\u011f\u0131rm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu u\u011furda hi\u00e7bir fedak\u00e2rl\u0131ktan da ka\u00e7\u0131nmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n

\u00c7izmeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z devletin bu durumunu \u201ckesif zulmet\u201d olarak vas\u0131fland\u0131r\u0131yor ve o karanl\u0131klar i\u00e7inden bir \u201cnur\u201d ar\u0131yor. Bilinmektedir ki, Arap\u00e7a olan yakaza kelimesinin iki anlam\u0131 vard\u0131r. Birinci anlam\u0131; uyan\u0131kl\u0131k, ikinci anlam\u0131; \u015fuuru ayakta tutan, haf\u0131za ve hassasiyeti azami seviyede tutma hali. Yani madd\u00ee manev\u00ee varl\u0131\u011f\u0131 (potansiyeli) toplama halidir.<\/p>\n

Bedi\u00fczzaman\u2019a g\u00f6re bu hal, ancak Sad\u0131k R\u00fcya hali, yani ruhu teksif, yani ruhu yo\u011funla\u015ft\u0131rarak \u201co kesif zulmet\u201d i\u00e7inde arad\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u2018nur\u2019u bulma kap\u0131s\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131yor.<\/p>\n

Tasavvufu, Hasan Basri\u2019den \u201cEne\u2019l-Hak\u201d diyen Hallac-\u0131 Mansur ve Mevl\u00e2n\u00e2\u2019ya kadar safha safha, b\u00fct\u00fcn ayr\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131yla bilen ve Allah\u2019a y\u00f6neli\u015fin ruh\u00ee ve Samedan\u00ee berrakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n mutlak \u015fart\u0131na sahip olan Bedi\u00fczzaman i\u00e7in sad\u0131k r\u00fcya, ancak \u00e2lem-i misalin tecellisidir. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc fan\u00ee insanlar\u0131n bin bir sebeple konu\u015famad\u0131klar\u0131, g\u00f6remedikleri ger\u00e7ekler, akl\u0131n, takvan\u0131n, safiyetin ve ihl\u00e2s\u0131n sentezi olan \u00e2lem-i misaldedir. Ona da ancak kafay\u0131, fikr\u00ee ve g\u00f6nl\u00fc gayeye yo\u011funla\u015ft\u0131rmakla gidilebilir. Tabi\u00ee ki bu da bir mertebedir. O da vatan, millet ve \u00e2lem-i \u0130sl\u00e2m\u2019\u0131n d\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ve g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fc\u015fte \u015fer olan \u015fartlar i\u00e7in bu yolu tercih eder, \u00e2lem-i misale girer. Kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda kim olursa olsun d\u00e2v\u00e2s\u0131 olan \u0130sl\u00e2m\u00ee ger\u00e7ekleri ve \u0130sl\u00e2m\u2019\u0131n gelece\u011fiyle ilgili konular\u0131, sonu\u00e7 idam sehpas\u0131 dahi olsa, hayk\u0131rmaktan geri durmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Gazetelerde yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131 yaz\u0131larda Sultan Abd\u00fclhamid\u2019e \u201cY\u0131ld\u0131z Saray\u0131\u201dn\u0131 dar\u00fclfun\u00fbn yapmas\u0131n\u0131 telkin etmi\u015ftir. Di\u011fer yandan, siyaset meydanlar\u0131nda nutuk atan, elinde sil\u00e2h cephelerde sava\u015fan, metninde eme\u011fi olan cihad fetvas\u0131n\u0131n yay\u0131nlanmas\u0131nda, Daru\u2019l-Hikmeti\u2019l-\u0130sl\u00e2miye\u2019de hizmet eden ve \u00e7ekti\u011fi eza, cefa, i\u015fkence ve zul\u00fcmlere ra\u011fmen \u00f6mr\u00fcn\u00fc b\u00fcy\u00fck d\u00e2v\u00e2s\u0131na vakfeden dahidir. \u0130\u015fte bunlar, Bedi\u00fczzaman taraf\u0131ndan ve onun tabiriyle \u201cselef-i salihin ve asar\u0131n mebuslar\u0131\u201d diye adland\u0131r\u0131l\u0131yor. Bunlar, b\u00fcy\u00fck m\u00fctefekkir i\u00e7in bilinen ki\u015filer, peygamberin varisi ve kendi asr\u0131nda g\u00f6revli olan ki\u015filerdir. Kendisinden dinleyelim:<\/p>\n

Bundan dolay\u0131 \u0130tth\u00e2d-\u0131 \u0130sl\u00e2m\u2019\u0131 gaye edinen Bedi\u00fczzaman, bu gayenin de ancak milletimizin \u00f6nc\u00fcl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde ger\u00e7ekle\u015fece\u011fini belirtmektedir. Bedi\u00fczzaman Sa\u00eed Nurs\u00ee bu \u00e7ileli yolun kenar\u0131nda de\u011fil, bizzat i\u00e7inde ve hatta \u00f6n\u00fcndedir. Bundan dolay\u0131 da vatan, millet ve \u00f6zellikle de mensubu oldu\u011fu dinin, saadetlerinin oldu\u011fu kadar, fel\u00e2ketlerinin de muhatab\u0131 olmu\u015ftur. Bu c\u00fcmledeki ma\u011flubiyetten kastedilen, d\u00fcnyan\u0131n d\u00f6rt y\u0131l boyunca iki blok halinde sava\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 I. D\u00fcnya Sava\u015f\u0131d\u0131r. Osmanl\u0131lar, m\u00fcttefiklerimiz Almanya, Avusturya-Macaristan \u0130mparatorlu\u011fu ve Bulgaristan ile beraber ma\u011flup olmu\u015ftur. Bir\u00e7oklar\u0131 bu ma\u011flubiyeti milletimiz i\u00e7in son saym\u0131\u015flard\u0131r. Ancak ne gariptir ki, sadece d\u00fc\u015fmanlar\u0131m\u0131z de\u011fil, devletin karar makam\u0131nda olanlar\u0131n bir\u00e7o\u011fu da ayn\u0131 kanaatte idi. Fakat ayn\u0131 kanaatte olmayanlar az da olsa vard\u0131 ki, bunlar\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131nda Bedi\u00fczzaman Said Nurs\u00ee gelmektedir. Nitekim 1919\u2019da en kara g\u00fcnlerde bu kanaatini iman\u0131nda, irfan\u0131nda ve vicdan\u0131nda ta\u015f\u0131m\u0131\u015ft\u0131r ve bu soruya \u015f\u00f6yle cevap vermi\u015ftir:<\/p>\n

\u201cDedim: Musibet \u015ferr-i mahz olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in, bazen saadette fel\u00e2ket oldu\u011fu gibi, fel\u00e2ketten dahi saadet \u00e7\u0131kar. Eskiden beri i\u2019l\u00e2-y\u0131 kelimetullah ve beka-y\u0131 istikl\u00e2liyet-i \u0130sl\u00e2m i\u00e7in farz-\u0131 kifaye-i cihad\u0131 deruhte ile kendini yekv\u00fccut olan \u00e2lem-i \u0130sl\u00e2m\u2019a fedaya vazifedar ve hilafete bayraktar g\u00f6rm\u00fc\u015f olan bu devlet-i \u0130sl\u00e2miyenin fel\u00e2keti; \u00e2lem-i \u0130sl\u00e2m\u2019\u0131n saadeti m\u00fcstakbelesi ile tel\u00e2fi edilebilecektir. Zira \u015fu musibet, maye-i hayat\u0131m\u0131z ve \u00e2b-\u0131 hayat\u0131m\u0131z olan uhuvvet-i \u0130sl\u00e2miyenin inki\u015faf ve ihtizaz\u0131n\u0131 harikulade ta\u2019cil etti.<\/p>\n

\u201cBiz incinirken, \u00e2lem-i \u0130sl\u00e2m a\u011fl\u0131yor. Avrupa ziyade incitse ba\u011f\u0131racakt\u0131r. \u015eayet \u00f6lsek, yirmi \u00f6lece\u011fiz, \u00fc\u00e7 y\u00fcz dirilece\u011fiz. Harikalar asr\u0131nday\u0131z. \u0130ki \u00fc\u00e7 sene sonra meydanda dirilenler var. Biz bu ma\u011flubiyetle bir saadet-i \u00e2ciley-i muvakkate kaybettik, fakat bir saadet-i acile-yi m\u00fcstemirre bizi bekliyor. Pek c\u00fcz\u2019i m\u00fctehavvil ve mahdut olan hali, geni\u015f istikbal ile m\u00fcbadele eden kazan\u0131r.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bedi\u00fczzaman bu ifadeleriyle bir bak\u0131ma Mevl\u00e2n\u00e2 gibi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyor. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc o; \u201cTiryak ac\u0131d\u0131r. Ama ka\u00e7 derde \u015fifad\u0131r, bilir misin?\u201d sorusunu sorarak, t\u0131bb\u00ee bir ger\u00e7e\u011fi ortaya koyuyor. Said Nurs\u00ee de maruz kal\u0131nan fel\u00e2ketlerin, arkas\u0131ndaki bakir ger\u00e7e\u011fi, o kapkara \u00fcmitsizlik g\u00fcnlerinde, milletine ve b\u00fct\u00fcn M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlara \u0131\u015f\u0131k olarak g\u00f6steriyor. O kara g\u00fcnlerde \u0130sl\u00e2m\u2019\u0131n, M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlar\u0131n ve \u00f6zellikle de milletimizin gelece\u011fi ile ilgili iyimser olanlar, iki elin parmaklar\u0131 kadar azd\u0131. \u0130\u015fte bunlardan biri de belki birincisi Bedi\u00fczzaman idi.
