Fethullah G\u00fclen Hocaefendi, babas\u0131n\u0131n hocal\u0131k yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 Alvar k\u00f6y\u00fcnde vaaz vermek i\u00e7in ilk defa cami k\u00fcrs\u00fcs\u00fcne \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131nda 14 ya\u015f\u0131ndayd\u0131.\u00a0Erzurum’da tahsiline devam ediyor, Arap\u00e7a’y\u0131 yeni yeni \u00f6\u011freniyordu. Bayramlarda, m\u00fcbarek gecelerde, cuma g\u00fcnlerinde k\u00fcrs\u00fcn\u00fcn kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131na ge\u00e7ip vaaz eden insanlar\u0131 ve tabii babas\u0131 Ramiz Efendi’yi b\u00fcy\u00fck bir hayranl\u0131k ve can kula\u011f\u0131yla dinliyordu. Camiden \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131nda ne konu\u015fuldu\u011funu unutmuyordu. Annesi sordu\u011funda dinlediklerini kelimesi kelimesine ona anlat\u0131yordu.\u00a0Yine bir Ramazan ak\u015fam\u0131yd\u0131. Alvar’daki ilk vaaz\u0131ndan sonra Hocaefendi\u2019nin hayat\u0131 yeni bir y\u00f6ne do\u011fru gitmeye ba\u015flad\u0131. Ertesi sene Ramazan ay\u0131nda babas\u0131n\u0131n \u0131srar\u0131 ile Erzurum d\u0131\u015f\u0131na \u00e7\u0131kmaya karar verdi. Ramazan boyunca Amasya, Tokat ve Sivas taraflar\u0131n\u0131 dola\u015ft\u0131. Vaazlar etti. Baz\u0131 m\u00fcft\u00fcler Fethullah G\u00fclen Hocaefendi\u2019ye ilgi g\u00f6sterip vaaz etmesine imkan tan\u0131rken baz\u0131lar\u0131 da ya\u015f\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7ok k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck oldu\u011funu ileri s\u00fcrerek bu sevdadan vazge\u00e7mesini tavsiye etti. Hocaefendi kararl\u0131yd\u0131. O bildi\u011fi yolda y\u00fcr\u00fcyecekti. Sivas’tan sonra Erzincan’a da u\u011frayarak Erzurum’a d\u00f6nd\u00fc. Ta\u015fraya bu ilk \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f\u0131 ondaki belli istidatlar\u0131n geli\u015fmesine vesile oldu. Verdi\u011fi vaazlardan sonra o \u00e7evrelerin okumu\u015f, ayd\u0131n insanlar\u0131yla \u00f6zel sohbetler yapt\u0131. Bu sohbetler ona, Korucuk, Alvar ve Erzurum gibi daima tan\u0131d\u0131k muhitlerde, birbiriyle hemen hemen ayn\u0131 bilgilere sahip, ayn\u0131 ruh halini ta\u015f\u0131yan insanlar\u0131n d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda, farkl\u0131 bilgi ve d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fc\u015flere sahip insanlar oldu\u011funu \u00f6\u011fretiyordu. 1953 y\u0131l\u0131na gelindi\u011finde Hocaefendi yeni bir karde\u015fe kavu\u015ftu. Erkek olan bu karde\u015fine ailesi Muhammed Fakrullah ismini verdi.\u00a0Bu s\u0131ralarda Bedi\u00fczzaman, 1953 y\u0131l\u0131 bahar\u0131nda \u0130stanbul\u2019a gitti. May\u0131s ay\u0131n\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131ndan temmuz ay\u0131n\u0131n sonuna kadar \u0130stanbul\u2019da \u00fc\u00e7 ay kald\u0131. Bedi\u00fczzaman, yan\u0131nda bulunan talebesi Ziya Arun ile Fener\u2019deki Patrik Athenagoras\u2019a da gitti, onunla g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc. Bu g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fme s\u0131ras\u0131nda, Bedi\u00fczzaman, Patrik\u2019e: \u201cH\u0131ristiyanl\u0131\u011f\u0131n hakiki k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131 kabul etmek, Hazreti Muhammed\u2019i (aleyhissal\u00e2t\u00fc vesselam) Peygamber ve Kur\u2019\u00e2n-\u0131 Ker\u00eem\u2019i de Kitabullah kabul etmek \u015fart\u0131yla, ehl-i necat olacaks\u0131n\u0131z.\u201d dedi.
Hocaefendi\u2019nin B\u00fcy\u00fckanne ve Dedesinin Vefat Etmesi (1954)<\/strong>
Fethullah G\u00fclen Hocaefendi, Erzurum\u2019da medreseye devam etti\u011fi s\u0131ralarda kendisini iyice sarsan bir hadise meydana geldi. 10 Ocak 1954’te babaannesi Munise Han\u0131m ve dedesi \u015eamil A\u011fa birer saat arayla vefat etti.M\u00fbnise Han\u0131m, uzun s\u00fcredir hasta yat\u0131yordu. Vefat\u0131ndan be\u015f-on dakika \u00f6nce gelini Refia Han\u0131m’\u0131n yard\u0131m\u0131yla abdest alm\u0131\u015f, ikindi namaz\u0131n\u0131 eda etmi\u015fti. Sonra da e\u015fi \u015eamil A\u011fa\u2019y\u0131 kastederek: ‘\u0130kimiz de d\u00fcnyadan nasibimizi tam almam\u0131\u015f\u0131z. Bu gece cenazelerimiz evde kalacak’ demi\u015fti. Ve dudaklar\u0131ndan kopan son feryat ‘Allah’ kelimesi olmu\u015f, ruhunu Rahman\u2019a teslim etmi\u015fti. Bu arada, \u015e\u00e2mil A\u011fa di\u011fer odadayd\u0131 ve herhangi bir \u015fikayeti de yoktu. Evdekiler M\u00fbnise Han\u0131m’\u0131n cenazesiyle me\u015fgul olurken, di\u011fer odadan bir fery\u00e2t daha koptu. Torunlar\u0131ndan biri ‘Dedem \u00f6ld\u00fc!’ diye a\u011flamaktayd\u0131.\u015eamil A\u011fa ve M\u00fbnise Han\u0131m\u2019\u0131n birbirlerine \u00e7ok kuvvetli bir ba\u011fl\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131 vard\u0131. Hocaefendi, annesinden dinledi\u011fine g\u00f6re, M\u00fbnise Han\u0131m\u2019\u0131n muhtelif zamanlarda \u201cAllah\u0131m beni bu adamdan bir saat geri b\u0131rakma.\u201d diye dua etti\u011fini anlat\u0131r. \u0130\u015fte, Allah, bu m\u00fcbarek kad\u0131n\u0131n duas\u0131n\u0131 kabul etmi\u015f ve bir saat arayla ikisini de alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. \u015eamil A\u011fa, hayat arkada\u015f\u0131 M\u00fbnise Han\u0131m\u2019\u0131 ahiret yolculu\u011funda da yaln\u0131z b\u0131rakmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131.\u00a0M\u00fbnise Han\u0131m\u2019\u0131n dedi\u011fi gibi her iki cenaze de o ak\u015fam evde kald\u0131. Ancak ertesi g\u00fcn defnedildiler. Kabirleri Korucuk K\u00f6y\u00fcndeki mezarl\u0131kta bulunmaktad\u0131r.Hocaefendi,\u00a0 babaannesi ve dedesinin \u00f6l\u00fcm hadisesini \u015f\u00f6yle anlat\u0131yor:\u00a0‘Beni iyice sarsan bir hadise vuku buldu. Herhalde Merah okudu\u011fum d\u00f6nemdi. Medresede arkada\u015flar\u0131n, benden gizlemeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131klar\u0131 ve aralar\u0131nda konu\u015furken muttali oldu\u011fum ac\u0131 bir haber duydum. Dedem ve ninem vefat etmi\u015fti. D\u00fcnya ba\u015f\u0131ma y\u0131k\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. \u00c7ok sars\u0131ld\u0131m. Dersi okuduktan sonra yola \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131m. Tabii ki cenazelerine yeti\u015fememi\u015ftim.. G\u00fcnlerce a\u011flad\u0131m. Gece g\u00fcnd\u00fcz “Ya Rabbi! Ne olur beni de \u00f6ld\u00fcr, dedeme nineme kavu\u015fay\u0131m” diye dua ettim. Onlar\u0131n vefat\u0131n\u0131 bir t\u00fcrl\u00fc kabullenemedim. \u015eu anda dahi bu hicrana al\u0131\u015fabilmi\u015f de\u011filim. Dedem ve ninem ne zaman akl\u0131ma gelse, y\u00fcre\u011fimde bir kor tutu\u015fur ve burnumun kemi\u011fi s\u0131zlar. Ama elden ne gelir. Realist olmak gerekiyor.Bu kadar sars\u0131nt\u0131 ge\u00e7irmem biraz da bizim aile fertlerinin birbirlerine \u00e7ok a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 tutkun olmas\u0131ndan kaynaklanmaktayd\u0131. Yan\u0131nda e\u015fraf ve zenginlerden sekiz-on ki\u015fi vard\u0131. Alvar \u0130mam\u0131 onlara;\u00a0-Ben \u015fimdi talebeme sorular soraca\u011f\u0131m. E\u011fer hepsini bilirse onar lira vereceksiniz, dedi. Sonra Molla Cami’den sorular sormaya ba\u015flad\u0131. Hocaefendi, hayret i\u00e7inde kalm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc b\u00fct\u00fcn sorular bildi\u011fi yerlerden geliyordu. Hocaefendi\u2019nin Erzurum’daki \u00c7ileli Talebelik G\u00fcnleri<\/strong>
O y\u0131llarda medrese \u00f6\u011frencili\u011fi demek ayn\u0131 zamanda \u00e7ileli bir hayat demekti. K\u0131\u015f\u0131n \u0131s\u0131nma \u015fartlar\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7ok zor oldu\u011fu Erzurum\u2019da buz gibi so\u011fuk suyla banyo yapan Hocaefendi, so\u011fuk ta\u015f\u0131n \u00fczerine koydu\u011fu ayaklar\u0131n\u0131n donmamas\u0131 i\u00e7in bir aya\u011f\u0131 ta\u015ftayken, di\u011ferini kald\u0131rmak suretiyle banyo yap\u0131yordu. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc Erzurum\u2019un K\u0131rk\u00e7e\u015fme Hamamlar\u0131\u2019na gidip y\u0131kanacak imk\u00e2nlar\u0131 yoktu. Fakir \u00f6\u011frenciler ancak zengin insanlar\u0131n verdi\u011fi fi\u015flerle hamama gidebiliyordu. Fi\u015f olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 zaman, Erzurum so\u011fu\u011funda buz gibi suyla y\u0131kanmaktan ba\u015fka \u00e7are yoktu. Ayr\u0131ca Hocaefendi, elinde hortum medresenin tuvaletlerini temizliyordu.Paras\u0131 olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in ekmek alamay\u0131p a\u00e7 kald\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00fcnler oldu Hocaefendi\u2019nin. Yemeklerini yatt\u0131klar\u0131 k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck odada gaz oca\u011f\u0131nda yap\u0131p yiyorlard\u0131. Bazen ders g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc kitaplar\u0131 dahi alam\u0131yordu: \u201cYeterli param olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00e7ok defa ders kitab\u0131 alamazd\u0131m. \u00c7o\u011fu zaman ders halkas\u0131n\u0131n ortas\u0131na oturmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131r, s\u0131ra bana gelinceye kadar yan\u0131mdaki arkada\u015f\u0131n kitab\u0131ndan kendi yerimi ezberlemeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131rd\u0131m.\u201d
Hocaefendi, burada iki y\u0131l boyunca \u00f6\u011frendiklerini kendilerinden sonra gelenlere \u00f6\u011fretti. Bu ders m\u00fctaalalar\u0131 \u00e7ok faydal\u0131 oldu. Bitirdi\u011fi kitab\u0131 okutacak hale geliyordu ve bunu tekrar tekrar okutuyordu. Fark\u0131na varmadan ‘geri besleme’ yap\u0131yordu. Ayn\u0131 zamanda, Alvar \u0130mam\u0131’n\u0131n hayatta oldu\u011fu d\u00f6nemlerden al\u0131\u015f\u0131k oldu\u011fu \u015fekilde tasavvufla da me\u015fgul oluyordu. Hem ilim, hem tasavvuf tahsiline devam etmesi, fark\u0131nda olmasa da onun, zahir (g\u00f6r\u00fcnen) ve bat\u0131n (g\u00f6r\u00fcnenin ard\u0131ndaki) aras\u0131ndaki b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc kurmas\u0131nda temel te\u015fkil etmeye ba\u015flad\u0131.
\u201cBen medreseye devam ederken de tekkeyi ihmal etmezdim. Alvar \u0130mam\u0131 hayatta iken hep onun yan\u0131na gidip geldim. Zaten ilk g\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fc a\u00e7t\u0131\u011f\u0131m, ruhumu mayalad\u0131\u011f\u0131m yer tekkedir. Bende tekke ve medresenin izleri hep ayn\u0131 ritmi dokuyarak devam etmi\u015ftir. Fethullah G\u00fclen Hocaefendi, s\u0131k\u0131nt\u0131 \u00e7ekmesine ra\u011fmen \u00e7ok k\u0131sa zamanda bir\u00e7ok dersi ba\u015far\u0131yla tamamlad\u0131. Fakat buna ra\u011fmen, Kur\u015funlu Camii Medresesinden bir m\u00fcddet sonra ayr\u0131lmak zorunda b\u0131rak\u0131ld\u0131.\u00a0\u201cDerslerime intizaml\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131rd\u0131m. \u00c7ok az uyur, gecelerimi ders \u00e7al\u0131\u015farak ge\u00e7irirdim. Buna Kur\u2019an okumak da dahildi. Verilen dersler Hocaefendi\u2019nin istidat, kabiliyet ve seviyesine g\u00f6re \u00e7ok c\u0131l\u0131z derslerdi. K\u00f6r topal y\u00fcr\u00fcy\u00fc\u015f onu rahats\u0131z etti. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc bu durumda derslerin on y\u0131lda bitmesi bile m\u00fcmk\u00fcn de\u011fildi. G\u00f6r\u00fcyordu ki, senelerce ders halkas\u0131na oturup h\u00e2l\u00e2 iptid\u00e2i dersler okuyan kelli felli insanlar vard\u0131. Buna tahamm\u00fcl\u00fc yoktu. Vaktinin geri kalan k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131 ba\u015fka kitaplar okuyarak ge\u00e7irmeyi adet edindi. Onun bu tav\u0131rlar\u0131 ba\u015fta yad\u0131rgand\u0131. Geri Kalm\u0131\u015f E\u011fitim Metodu<\/strong>
\u201cTalebeli\u011fimin hepsini toplasan\u0131z iki sene ancak yapar. O devrede talebeye i’lal idgam ezberleterek vakit israf ediliyordu. Ve ciddi rehberlik yapan da yoktu.\u201d
Fethullah G\u00fclen Hocaefendi, ate\u015fli bir mizaca, keskin bir zekaya ve yenilik\u00e7i bir ruha sahipti. Orta\u00e7a\u011f’dan kalm\u0131\u015f dini e\u011fitim sisteminin eskimi\u015f us\u00fbl\u00fcn\u00fc, ders okutma tekni\u011fini, okutulan derslerin kifayetsizli\u011fini \u00e7abucak sezdi. Di\u011fer yandan yerle\u015fmi\u015f bir\u00e7ok kural\u0131 i\u00e7ine sindiremiyor, kal\u0131plara tahamm\u00fcl edemiyordu.
