Maddeler halinde de\u011ferlendirme yaparak \u201c\u00fcmm\u00ee peygamber\u201d yaz\u0131 serimizi sonland\u0131r\u0131yoruz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1- Bu konuyu kaleme alma sebebim hakikat aray\u0131\u015f\u0131 i\u00e7inde bulunan, ne Hz. Peygambere (sas) olan sevgisi ne de din\u00ee samimiyetinden \u015f\u00fcphe etmedi\u011fim bir dostumun Peygamber Efendimizin ger\u00e7ekten okuma yazma bilip-bilmedi\u011fi konusundaki sorusu oldu. Bu soru benim zihnimde Allah\u2019\u0131n rahmetine tevdi etti\u011fimiz \u0130lahiyat y\u0131llar\u0131ndaki bir hocam\u0131z\u0131n tespitini \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131. O \u201cHz. Peygamberi okuma yazma bilmez cahil bir insan g\u00f6stermenin \u00fcmmet-i Muhammedin en b\u00fcy\u00fck g\u00fcnahlar\u0131ndan biridir\u201d derdi. Ben de Arap\u00e7a ifadesiyle \u2018efr\u00e2d\u0131n\u0131 c\u00e2mi a\u011fyar\u0131n\u0131 m\u00e2ni\u2019 bi\u00e7imde bu meseleyi kaleme almaya karar verdim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2-\u015eu ana kadar yay\u0131nlanan yaz\u0131larda iki defa vurgulad\u0131\u011f\u0131m bir hususu bir kez daha tekrar edeyim: g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz d\u00fcnyas\u0131nda okuma yazma bilmemenin \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 menfi anlam\u0131n etkisi alt\u0131nda de\u011filim. Anakronik ve apologist bir yakla\u015f\u0131m g\u00f6r\u00fcr\u00fcm ben bunu ve iman\u0131mla telif edemem. Peygamber Efendimizin okuma yazma bilmesi ya da bilmemesi benim iman\u0131m\u0131 ne zedeleyen ne de katk\u0131da bulunan bir unsurdur. Amac\u0131m sadece hak ve hakikatin ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131 ad\u0131na bir katk\u0131da bulunmaktan ibarettir. <\/strong>Ger\u00e7i aradan ge\u00e7en 15 as\u0131r, bu s\u00fcre i\u00e7inde adeta kemikle\u015fen d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceler, \u00f6nyarg\u0131lar ve elimizde bulunan ilm\u00ee miras hakikatin b\u00fct\u00fcn berrakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ile ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131na izin verir mi bilmiyorum. Buna sekizincisi yay\u0131nlad\u0131\u011f\u0131m yaz\u0131 dizisini okuyanlar karar verecek. \u015eunun bilinmesini isterim; fantezi aray\u0131\u015f\u0131 i\u00e7inde de de\u011filim. B\u00f6ylesi mevzular\u0131 g\u00fcndeme getirerek me\u015fhur olma gibi bir derdim hi\u00e7 yok. Allah kalbimin derinliklerine nigehb\u00e2n. Amac\u0131m sadece ve sadece hakikatin, ger\u00e7e\u011fin, do\u011frunun velev ki \u00fczerinden 15 as\u0131r ge\u00e7mi\u015f bile olsa ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131 ad\u0131na katk\u0131da bulunmaktan ibaret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3-\u00dcmm\u00ee kelimesi s\u00f6zl\u00fckte anaya mensup, anas\u0131ndan do\u011fdu\u011fu gibi saf, duru, tabiat\u0131 bozulmam\u0131\u015f, temiz, berrak, p\u0131nar, memba, ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7, temel, esas, bir \u015feyin ruhu ve cevheri, yazmayan ve okumayan bir toplum, Arap \u00fcmmetine mensup, bir milletin mensubu veya Mekkeli, bir insandan e\u011fitim g\u00f6rmemi\u015f, Ehl-i Kitab\u2019\u0131n d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda kalan Arap toplumu, cahil Araplar, \u015fehirlerin anas\u0131, lider, \u00fcmmet, grup, peygambere mensup topluluk manalar\u0131na gelir. G\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fc gibi \u00fcmm\u00ee denildi\u011fi an zihnimizde yapm\u0131\u015f oldu\u011fu \u201cokuma-yazma\u201d bilmeme kelimenin yeg\u00e2ne ve biricik manas\u0131 de\u011fildir.<\/strong> Hangi anlamda kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131 ise kelimenin kullan\u0131m alan\u0131 ve c\u00fcmle i\u00e7indeki yerine g\u00f6re de\u011fi\u015fecektir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4-Ist\u0131lahta bu manalardan \u00fc\u00e7\u00fc a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131k kazanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r; n\u00fczul toplumu \u015fartlar\u0131nda ya\u015fayan Araplar\u0131n ehli kitap olan Yahudi ve H\u0131ristiyanlar gibi \u0130lahi bir kitap ve peygambere sahip olmamas\u0131, dolay\u0131s\u0131yla \u0130lahi mesajlar\u0131n muhtevas\u0131ndan bihaber olmas\u0131, Mekkeli olma ve nihayet insan\u0131n annesinden do\u011fdu\u011fu g\u00fcn gibi okuma yazma bilmemesi.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

5-Tarihi perspektiften bak\u0131nca n\u00fczul toplumu cahiliye Araplar\u0131n\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde okuma yazma bilmedi\u011fi do\u011frudur. Gerek g\u00f6\u00e7ebe hayat tarzlar\u0131 gerek hayat\u0131n sair realiteleri bunu do\u011fruluyor. Ama bu demek de\u011fildir ki o toplumda hi\u00e7 kimse okuma yazma bilmiyordu. Nas\u0131l olsun ki Yemen\u2019den \u015eam\u2019a y\u0131ll\u0131k yap\u0131lan ticari seferler, Mekke\u2019nin ticaret yollar\u0131n\u0131 kesi\u015fim yerinde yer almas\u0131 okuma yazman\u0131n hi\u00e7 bilinmedi\u011fi \u015feklindeki bir yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131 temelden y\u0131kacak bir durumdur. Zaten bunu iddia eden yok diyebilirsiniz. Hakl\u0131s\u0131n\u0131z. Bunu iddia eden kimse yok ama burada mesele Hz. Peygamber\u2019in okuma yazma bilmemesi ise \u015fu soruyu akla getiriyor: Ticaret yollar\u0131n\u0131n kesi\u015fim k\u00fcmesinde yerini alan Mekke\u2019de do\u011fan b\u00fcy\u00fcyen, Peygamberli\u011fi \u00f6ncesi amcas\u0131n\u0131n ticaret kervanlar\u0131na kat\u0131lan, gen\u00e7lik y\u0131llar\u0131nda da buna devam eden ve baz\u0131 seferlerde Hz. Hatice\u2019nin \u015eam\u2019a giden ticaret kervan\u0131na ba\u015fkanl\u0131k eden birisi acaba okuma yazma bilmeyen \u00e7o\u011funluk i\u00e7inde mi yerini al\u0131yordur yoksa okuma yazma bilen az\u0131nl\u0131k i\u00e7inde mi? Akl\u0131 ve mant\u0131k\u00ee \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131m ikincisini \u00f6nceliyor.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6-Kur\u2019an\u2019da 2\u2019si tekil, 4\u2019u \u00e7o\u011ful formunda 6 ayeti kerimede \u00fcmm\u00ee Hz. kelimesi ge\u00e7iyor. Bakara 78, Al-i \u0130mran 20 ve 75, Araf 157-158 ve Cuma 2. ayet. Bu ayetlerin hi\u00e7birinde -ehemmiyetine binaen tekrar edeyim- hi\u00e7birinde \u00fcmm\u00ee kelimesi okuma-yazma bilmeme anlam\u0131nda kullan\u0131lm\u0131yor. Bu ayetlerde ne Hz. Peygamber ne de onun da mensup oldu\u011fu Arap kavmi i\u00e7in okuma yazma bilmeme manas\u0131nda bir bilgi ya da i\u015faret vard\u0131r<\/strong>. Bu ayetler i\u00e7inde ehli kitab\u0131n kastedildi\u011fi yerde Tevrat\u2019\u0131n derinliklerine vak\u0131f olmayan, Araplar i\u00e7in kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda ise \u0130lahi bir dine, kitaba ve Peygambere sahip olmama manas\u0131 ve vurgusu yap\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Araplar\u0131n Arap \u0131rk\u0131ndan olmayan herkese \u201cacem\u201d demesi gibi ehli kitap da ehli kitaptan olmayan Araplara \u201c\u00fcmmi\u201d diye hitap etti\u011fini de tarihi bir ger\u00e7ektir.<\/strong> Kur\u2019an\u2019da bu kelimeye farkl\u0131 bir anlam y\u00fcklememi\u015f, bu kelimenin ge\u00e7ti\u011fi ayetlerin Bakara 78 hari\u00e7 di\u011ferlerinde bu mana hakimdir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00d6zetle \u015funu s\u00f6yleyebiliriz; Kur\u2019an s\u00f6z konusu ayetlerde \u00fcmm\u00ee kelimesinin n\u00fczul toplumunda ya\u015fayan M\u00fcslim ve gayrim\u00fcslim ki\u015filerin g\u00fcnl\u00fck dildeki kullan\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 esas alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Zaten do\u011fru olan da budur. Aksi halde Kur\u2019an muhataplar\u0131n\u0131n bilgi ve idrak ufuklar\u0131n\u0131 a\u015fan, alg\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 zorlayan bir kullan\u0131m olurdu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7- Ankebut suresi 48. ayeti Efendimizin okuma yazma bilmedi\u011fi kanaatine varanlar\u0131n Kur\u2019an merkezli en b\u00fcy\u00fck delillerinden biridir. \u201cSen \u015fu Kur\u2019an\u2019dan \u00f6nce hi\u00e7bir kitap okumuyor ve onu sa\u011f elinle yazm\u0131yordun. (Okuyup yazsayd\u0131n) o takdirde bat\u0131l pe\u015finde ko\u015fanlar, \u015f\u00fcpheye d\u00fc\u015ferlerdi.\u201d Fezlekesiyle birlikte ele ald\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131zda bu \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131m olduk\u00e7a akla yak\u0131n g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcyor. Ama ayeti n\u00fczul sebebi ve siyak sibak b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc i\u00e7inde okuyup anlam verdi\u011finizde kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131za ba\u015fka ger\u00e7ekler \u00e7\u0131k\u0131yor. O da Ankebut suresinin 46-52 ayetleri hicret \u00f6ncesi Mekke\u2019nin son g\u00fcnlerinde nazil olmu\u015f ve serinin 4. yaz\u0131s\u0131nda detayl\u0131ca ele ald\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z gibi gidecekleri yerde ehli kitapla kar\u015f\u0131la\u015facak olan M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlara uyar\u0131lar yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 48. Ayette yukar\u0131da Kur\u2019an diye terc\u00fcmesi yap\u0131lan yerde de orijinal ifade \u201ckitap\u2019t\u0131r. Dolay\u0131s\u0131yla do\u011fru terc\u00fcme \u201cSen \u015fu Kitap\u2019tan daha bir \u015fey okumuyor ve yazm\u0131yordun\u201d olmak zorundad\u0131r. Kitaptan kas\u0131t da hi\u00e7 \u015f\u00fcphesiz Tevrat ve \u0130ncil\u2019dir. <\/strong>Zaten ayetin fezlekesinde belirtilen bat\u0131l pe\u015finde ko\u015fanlar\u0131n \u015f\u00fcpheye d\u00fc\u015fmesi ancak bu durumda ger\u00e7ekle\u015firdi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u00f6z\u00fcn \u00f6z\u00fc, burada s\u00f6z\u00fc edilen Efendimizin Kur\u2019an\u2019dan \u00f6nce nazil olan vahiylerin kayna\u011f\u0131 ile ilgilidir ve \u0130lahi kitaplar\u0131n muhtevas\u0131na vak\u0131f olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 nazara verilmektedir; okuma yazma bilip bilmemesi ile konunun direkt alakas\u0131 yoktur. 8-Hz. Peygamberin okuma yazma bilmedi\u011fi konusunda kullan\u0131lan en etkin delil; ilk vahy olan \u201cikra\/oku\u201d beyan\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 s\u00f6yledi\u011fi \u201cben okuma bilmem\u201d cevab\u0131d\u0131r. Serinin 6. yaz\u0131s\u0131nda detayl\u0131ca ele ald\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z gibi ikra fiilinin k\u00f6k\u00fcn\u00fc te\u015fkil eden ka-re-e fiilinin sadece okumak manas\u0131 yoktur. Ka-re-e, cem etmek, toplamak, birle\u015ftirmek, ula\u015ft\u0131rmak, iletmek, duyurmak, incelemek, ara\u015ft\u0131rmak ve okumak manalar\u0131na gelir. Bu zaviyeden bak\u0131nca peygamberlik misyonunun ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bu ilk ayete okuma yerine tebli\u011f etme, duyurma manas\u0131 vermek akla \u00e7ok daha yak\u0131n g\u00f6z\u00fck\u00fcyor ki erken d\u00f6nem ulemalar\u0131ndan baz\u0131lar\u0131 zaten \u201cikra\u2019 bismi rabbikellezi halak\u201d ayetine \u201cYaratan Rabbinin ad\u0131n\u0131 duyur\u201d ya da \u201cYaratan Rabbinin ad\u0131na\/ad\u0131yla O\u2019nun ayetlerini duyur, tebli\u011f et\u201d manalar\u0131n\u0131 vermi\u015flerdir.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ayr\u0131ca Hz. Peygamberin \u201cm\u00e2 ene bik\u00e2riin\u201d \u015feklinde Cibril\u2019e verdi\u011fi cevab\u0131 gramer kurallar\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u201cben okuma bilmem\u201d \u015feklinde terc\u00fcme etmek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn oldu\u011fu gibi, \u201cne okuyay\u0131m, neyi okuyay\u0131m?\u201d \u015feklinde terc\u00fcme etmek de m\u00fcmk\u00fcnd\u00fcr. Bu arada Cibril\u2019in Efendimiz\u2019e okumak i\u00e7in bir metin vermedi\u011fini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnecek olursak bir alternatif olarak sundu\u011fumuz ikra fiiline duyurmak, tebli\u011f etmek, cem etmek manas\u0131 vermek daha do\u011frudur diye d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyorum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9-Hudeybiye sulhunda Hz. Ali\u2019ye \u201cMuhammedun Resullullah\u201d kayd\u0131n\u0131 silmesini istemesi bu \u00e7er\u00e7evede mutlaka ele al\u0131nmas\u0131 gerekli olan bir husustur. Malum Hz. Ali \u2018ben bu ibareyi silmem\u2019 demi\u015f, Efendimiz de ibarenin yerini g\u00f6stermesini istemi\u015f ve yerine Muhammed b Abdullah yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Burada sorun \u015fudur; Muhammed b Abdullah\u2019\u0131 yazan kimdir? Efendimiz mi, Hz. Ali mi yoksa \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc bir \u015fah\u0131s mi? Hz. Ali de\u011fildir. Bu kesin. Buhari\u2019deki rivayete g\u00f6re Efendimizdir.<\/strong> \u00dc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc \u015fah\u0131stan bahseden bir rivayet ise yoktur. Bir insan\u0131n velev ki okuma-yazmay\u0131 k\u00e2mil manada bilmese bile ad\u0131n\u0131 yazmas\u0131 yad\u0131rganacak bir \u015fey de\u011fildir. Dolay\u0131s\u0131yla Allah Resul\u00fcn\u00fcn burada ad\u0131n\u0131 yazmas\u0131 okuma yazma bilmesine delalet etmeyebilir. Ama onun gibi zeki bir insan\u0131n ad\u0131n\u0131 yazmas\u0131 da garipsenmemelidir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Burada \u015funu da hat\u0131rlatmak laz\u0131m, Efendimizin \u00f6l\u00fcm d\u00f6\u015fe\u011finde iken \u201cbana bir kalem ka\u011f\u0131t getirin, benden sonra yolunuzu \u015fa\u015f\u0131r\u0131p da birbirinize d\u00fc\u015fmemeniz i\u00e7in sizlere bir vasiyet yazay\u0131m\u201d rivayeti ne sahabe taraf\u0131ndan yad\u0131rganm\u0131\u015f ne de daha sonraki nesiller taraf\u0131ndan Hz. Peygamber okuma yazma biliyor muydu bilmiyor muydu tart\u0131\u015fmalara konu olmu\u015ftur. T\u0131pk\u0131 \u201cHudeybiye\u2019de Muhammedun Res\u00fclullah\u2019\u0131 sildi ve yerine  Muhammed b. Abdullah yazd\u0131\u201d rivayetinin tart\u0131\u015fma konusu olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 gibi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10- Kameri aylar\u0131n tespiti ve \u00f6zellikle Ramazan ay\u0131n\u0131n ba\u015flang\u0131c\u0131 ve bitimiyle alakal\u0131 s\u00f6ylenen hilalin g\u00f6r\u00fclmesi ve ay\u0131n ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7 zaman\u0131n\u0131n hesaplanmas\u0131 konusunda \u201cBiz \u00fcmm\u00ee bir \u00fcmmetiz. Hesap kitap bilmeyiz\u201d hadisi baz\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n okuma yazma bilmeme ekseninde dile getirdi\u011fi deliller aras\u0131ndad\u0131r. Fakat yerinde a\u00e7\u0131klad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z \u00fczere \u00fcmm\u00ee \u00fcmmetiz demesi o g\u00fcnk\u00fc sosyal ortamda Araplara verilen isim, hesap kitap bilmeyiz demesi de ay\u0131n tesbiti ad\u0131na arraflar\u0131n, kahinlerin yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 t\u00fcrden hesap yapmay\u0131z manas\u0131n\u0131 muhtevidir. Zira hadisin devam\u0131nda kameri aylar\u0131n 29 ya da 30 g\u00fcn \u00e7ekece\u011fini a\u00e7\u0131k\u00e7a ifade etmi\u015flerdir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nes\u00ee uygulamas\u0131n\u0131n s\u00f6z konusu hadisin s\u00f6ylenmesine neden olan zamanda neye tekab\u00fcl etti\u011fi de ayr\u0131ca ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 gerekli olan bir konudur ki buradan elde edilecek bilgiler hadisin \u00f6zg\u00fcn manas\u0131n\u0131n anla\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131na yard\u0131mc\u0131 olacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11-Cabiri\u2019nin dedi\u011fi gibi \u201cokuma yazma bilmeme peygamberli\u011fin \u015fartlar\u0131ndan de\u011fildir.\u201d<\/strong> Efendimizin ba\u015fta da s\u00f6yledi\u011fim gibi ne okuma yazma bilmesi ne de bilmemesi bizim ona iman\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 zedelemez ya da art\u0131rmaz. Bu ge\u00e7mi\u015fi karalama, reddetme de\u011fil test etme, sa\u011flama ve anlama \u00e7abas\u0131d\u0131r. Kald\u0131 ki itikad\u00ee bir mesele de olmay\u0131p iman\u0131n ne konusudur ne de par\u00e7as\u0131.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
